High safety alert for tourists going to Thailand!
BANGKOK – Two Malaysian tourists are in critical condition after being set on fire by an unemployed man on Ratchadamri Road late Thursday night.
The victims, a 26-year-old man identified as Ong and a 27-year-old woman identified as Gan, were seated on the steps near a shopping center at approximately 10 p.m. when they were attacked.
According to reports, the suspect, who is a former boxer, approached the couple from behind and poured paint thinner on them. Although the tourists initially tried to flee, the man chased them down and ignited the fluid, setting them on fire. The victims were rushed to a local hospital where they are being treated for critical injuries.

BANGKOK – Deux touristes malaisiens sont dans un état critique après avoir été incendiés par un chômeur sur Ratchadamri Road tard jeudi soir.
Les victimes, un homme de 26 ans identifié comme Ong et une femme de 27 ans identifiée comme Gan, étaient assis sur les marches près d'un centre commercial vers 22 heures quand elles ont été attaquées.
Selon les rapports, le suspect, qui est un ancien boxeur, s'est approché du couple par derrière et a versé du diluant de peinture dessus. Bien que les touristes aient d'abord essayé de fuir, l'homme les a poursuivis et a enflammé le liquide, les a mis le feu. Les victimes ont été emmenées d'urgence dans un hôpital local où elles sont soignées pour des blessures graves.
